Working at Port Sailing can be an exciting and fun job. If you have a desire to enter the maritime industry, Port Sailing can be your gateway to working on the sea. We seek people who are outgoing leaders with a desire to teach others and with an ability to learn more.
Positions are seasonal summer jobs. Adult instructors needed on weekends to sail on Sonars. Great part-time job. Fun job for a retired persons with sailing experience.
Junior sailing coaches/instructors needed weekdays, for (8) week program, Monday through Friday, 9- 4 pm. Prior participation Junior Sailing at a club desired. Lunch included.
At Port Sailing you can earn sea time to work your way to getting your Captains license for Masters Limited and Unlimited. Training available and tuition assistance for Sea School classes.
Positions include: Launch Operators, Adult Programs Sailing Instructors, Junior Sailing Instructors, and ICSA Race Coaches.
Requirements

Positions of working on the water require drug testing and random testing while actively working. This is a US Coast Guard requirement.

Minimum age to work on the water is 16.

Positions requiring a USCG licensing also require TWIC cards.

Must have basic computer skills for reservations.

First Aid and CPR required for Junior Instructor and Launch Operator.

Prior Junior Sailing racing or coaching is desired for Junior Sailing.
