Port Sailing School provides adult sailing classes to the public at Harlem Yacht Club in City Island. We also operate the Junior Sailing program for children at the club.

Adult Sailing Classes at HYC

Port Sailing offers the American Sailing Association 101 class at HYC. This is a beginner class taught onboard Sonar 23 foot boat. Class meets on 3 consecutive Sundays from 9:30 to 5 pm. Course fee includes ASA certification, book, and practice sail with club members. After successful completion of on-water skills and written test students can qualify to use HYC, Catalina 25 boats when they join the club as an Intermediate member.
